Lindsey has worked as a musical director (MD), keys player, composer, arranger and keyboard programmer for nearly 14 years. Most recently she has just finished working with the RSC on their 2023 production of Julius Caesar (dir. Atri Banerjee) which played a limited run in Stratford-Upon-Avon before embarking on a UK national tour. The production included community chorus members from each region of the tour, incorporating them into the musical language of the show. The show involved over 100 cast members and ended its run in June 2023 at The Lowry in Salford. Lindsey is particularly passionate about live and new music, particularly music commissioned for plays. This was her third season working with the RSC.

In 2022 Lindsey was MD for the 2022 RSC productions of Henry VI: Rebellion and Henry VI: Wars of The Roses (dir. Owen Horsley). She was also composer for the RSC's Summer 2022 Playmaking Festival production of Much Ado About Nothing: The Merry War. Lindsey was music associate to composer Michael Bruce for the 2022 National Theatre summer production of Much Ado About Nothing (dir. Simon Godwin) and orchestrator/arranger for the Christmas 2022 production of Snow White at The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury.

In 2021, Lindsey was composer and sound designer for Dance (dir. Charlotte Peters) at the King's Head Theatre, London. The original online production was featured in the BBC's Culture in Quarantine selection. Lindsey also composed the music for the new critically-acclaimed digital production of All On Her Own (dir. Alistair Knights) starring Janie Dee for MZG Theatre Productions. As a composer, her work has also been performed by English National Ballet. She was also musical director for Julie Atherton Live in London at The Hippodrome, London (Fourth Wall Productions) as well as for the RSC's 2019-2020 season. For her debut RSC season, she worked as MD on The Taming of The Shrew (dir. Justin Audibert), As You Like It (dir. Kimberly Sykes) and Measure for Measure (dir. Greg Doran). She worked on all 3 cast recordings and Live to Cinema broadcasts.

Lindsey is deputy MD/Joan for the UK Tour and West End productions of SIX: The Musical.  In 2020 Lindsey worked as musical director, sound designer and sound operator for PantoLiveTV's Cinderella, the world's first online and interactive pantomime which broadcast live to over a million people around the world.

She is a visiting practitioner at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow, coaching actor-musicians, musical theatre performers and actors.
